Chantilly Arts & Élégance 2024: Exceptional Automobilia objets d'art in the spotlight of My Pilot Collection
A unique automotive art exhibition with a touch of French flair
The Château de Chantilly, a true jewel of French heritage, was the theater of an extraordinary marriage of art, haute couture and automobiles at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille event from September 13 to 15, 2024.
This majestic setting, imbued with historic grandeur and French art de vivre, provided the perfect backdrop for the second My Pilot Collection exhibition (the first happened during Monaco F1 GP 2024), where every detail was carefully thought out.
A prestigious showcase for exceptional works of art
Right in the heart of the Terrasse du Connétable, facing this fabulous château, My Pilot Collection offered a striking visual spectacle. With over 25 square meters of carefully showcased creations, each object told a story, capturing the essence of the automobile and design through the eyes of talented artists & craftsmen.

Its unrivalled beauty reflecting a decade of passionate craftsmanship of rare talent while arousing wonder and fascination from the visitors: “These flamboyant curves irresistibly draw our gaze from the entrance. All we want to do is get closer to enjoy this visual delight, which we'll probably never see again in our lives”. And for the more curious, an aluminum bodybuck of the 315S revealed a few secrets about the internal structure of this mechanical masterpiece.
Elegance at the service of unique collections
This prestigious event was an opportunity for My Pilot Collection to present collections never before unveiled. Among the novelties:
- A collection of handbags for lady drivers, made from Ferrari 315S materials, marked a turning point in the brand's commitment to a female audience.
.
- In addition, a collection combining aviation & automobiles, comprising customizable trolleys and containers, caused a sensation among the Gentlemen Drivers in attendance.
.
- Enthusiasts were also able to admire works paying tribute to automotive legends such as Flaminio Bertoni, Ettore Bugatti and Juan Manuel Fangio, through a series of works signed Le Muret des Stands. Each creation, whether sculptures or objets d'art, was a vibrant tribute to these icons of motor sport, whether pilots or piloted.
Art in all its forms: from pop art to traditional mechanical art
The exhibition also featured more contemporary works.
Two collections in particular paid tribute to Steve McQueen, including a series of oil portraits by Valérie Durand and a flamboyant Pop Art collection by Fanni Mayer, presented on a variety of bold supports (jerrycans, skateboards, pilot, etc.).
This artistic diversity continued with outstanding mechanical sculptures in bronze & resin of rare craftsmanship, including the Alfa Romeo 158 “speed” & “fast curve” by Xavier Parent, alongside Laurent Léoncini's fantastical, vintage automotive universe.
As for the curves of Monaco, they always surprise and loosen tongues. You just can't get enough of them!
Exceptional objects at the crossroads of worlds
Always on the lookout for originality and detail, My Pilot Collection showcased lamps made from unique automotive parts - Ferrari brake calipers, Jaguar gascaps or even a FXX hub transformed into a jewelry box by Car2Art. These creations testify to the expertise and passion that drive each My Pilot Collection objet d'art.
The superb automotive ice creams always bring a touch of originality that speaks to all generations: BMW M3, Lancia Delta or Porsche 356 tastes please!
Finally, the collection of Champagnes Automobile Grand Cru V6, V8 and V12 and the epoxy resin rubies Porsche 911 & Ford GT40 by Matlab Studio added a festive and luxurious touch to the exhibition, accentuated by the presence of the 100% carbon Bugatti Pool table under the curious & admiring gaze of visitors.
