The Soul of the Porsche 356 immortalised in Solid Mahogany

A Carved Piece of Porsche History to Possess

Timeless symbol of automotive elegance and unique craftsmanship, this solid wood Porsche 356 named "The Legendary Pioneer", proudly belong to the exclusive "Epures" collection.

Produced in a limited edition of 75 pieces on a scale of 1/6, this handcrafted car sculpture combines the nobility of precious mahogany with the timeless design of the 911's ancestor.

True tribute to Porsche's first production sports car, this automotive artwork celebrates the DNA of the Stuttgart legend and captivates with its perfect balance of harmonious curves and sportiness. Available in a natural or tinted finish, with a matt or gloss varnish (refer to the scale below), it subtly reveals the wood details of this masterpiece of Zuffenhausen automotive design.

Entirely made in France, this creation is the fruit of expertise handed down from generation to generation, where passion for classic cars meets excellence in cabinetmaking. Designed by a master craftsman, son of a coachbuilder, and his designer- modeler cousin, each car sculpture pays tribute to German engineering and mechanical art.

  • About the Porsche 356 : The Origin of the Myth

As Porsche's first production car, the 356 marked the beginning of a legendary line. Designed in 1948 by Ferdinand Porsche and his son Ferry, it immediately became a benchmark among sports cars.

Featuring a flat-4 engine with a rear overhang, a lightweight chassis and optimised aerodynamics, the Porsche 356 shone in legendary competitions such as Le Mans, the Carrera Panamericana and the Mille Miglia, confirming its status as an exceptional sports car. Its charisma went also beyond motor sport. It seduced such iconic figures as James Dean, Steve McQueen and Paul Newman, while leaving its mark on the cinema, notably in ‘Top Gun’ (1986).

Available in several versions - 356 Pre-A, 356 A, 356 B, 356 C - and in different variants - Coupé, Cabriolet, Speedster, Super 90, Carrera 2, Hardtop - it embodies the evolution of design and performance in line with Porsche's principles of excellence.

About the artist.

From ancestral know-how to an elite journey

Born in 1975 and descended from a line of bodywork craftsmen, the creator of this automotive sculpture in solid mahogany has always worked the material with passion, sculpting wood with the same precision as his ancestors worked metal.

Graduated from the École Boulle, his talent was recognised very early on, and in 1995 he was awarded the Oscar for Contemporary Creation for his excellence in exceptional craftsmanship.

His love of legendary automobiles, coupled with his family's expertise, naturally led him to revisit some of the most iconic models in automotive history: the Lamborghini Miura, the Ferrari F40, the Porsche 356, the MG A Type, the Bugatti Atlantic, the Aston Martin DB5, the Citroën DS 19 ...

The result is the "Epures" collection, in which each creation becomes a tribute to the elegance and performance of these classic cars. Each handcrafted sculpture is signed by the artist on a plate discreetly integrated beneath the work and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing its origin and value over time.
